Catchment Hydrology, Freshwater Ecology and eWater CRC Dinner
Tuesday 29 May 2012
Celebrating 20 years of CRC achievement
On Tuesday 29 May, eWater CRC hosted a dinner at the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra to recognise the achievements of 20 years of CRC-funded research and development under the Catchment Hydrology, Freshwater Ecology and eWater CRCs, from 1992–2012.
According to our records, more than 1500 people were involved in this work. They were named in a roll of honour displayed at the dinner and published in a commemorative book.
Our dinner invitation was accepted by just over 180 people, most of whom had direct involvement in the work of one or more of these CRCs.
This important work has blended the best hydrological and ecological knowledge from inside and outside the CRCs, and integrated this into Source, the new national eco-hydrological modelling system.
