In this end of year wrap up we talked about some of the biggest software developments in Source beta releases* over the last year, as well as interesting modelling projects the eWater hydrology team have been working on. 2015 has seen some major improvements to Source performance and stability, and some major feature upgrades that allow you to:
- Bulk edit parameters through the feature table more efficiently
- Compare scenarios with the new Diff Tool
- Switch between groups of input data files and parameters whilst maintaining model structure by using the upgraded functionality of Scenario Input Sets
- Link and combine models through connection nodes and, import, copy and paste functionality.
The eWater hydrology team has been busy using Source around the world to help address a wide variety of water management problems. We shared some interesting applications of Source, including our work in the Upper Godavari river basin in India comparing water management options, and our work in the Mekong River System within the Procedure for Water Use Monitoring (PWUM) project.
