Abstract / Summary:
This special issues provides 8 papers and 2 technical notes on the subject of environmental flows. Some papers document a selection of presentations at the seminar on environmental flows hosted by IEAust, River Basin Management Society and the Cooperative Research Centre for Catchment Hydrology. held at the Melbourne Zoo on November 19, 2001. Other papers on relevant environmental flow issues are also included. The collection, although broad in content, is by no means a comprehensive review of environmental flows issues in Australia. It is acknowledged that some papers focus on issues more relevant ot south-east Australia, although an Australia-wide focus is maintained as much as possible.
