Understanding our waterways
A brochure introducing the CRC for Freshwater Ecology (CRCFE) and outlining the kinds of things we do, including research, knowledge exchange and training,
particularly of postgraduate students.
Australians depend on healthy rivers for our water supply, for irrigation, for recreation and to provide the biodiversity that makes our country habitable.
To support and guide the sustainable management of our water resources, the CRCFE produces high-quality research to help all Australians
understand how our rivers work and how we can help to sustain them. The CRCFE provides ecological understanding of rivers, lakes and wetlands, to inform management.
