eWater Limited Board: Welcomes two Directors

This week we welcomed two new Directors to the eWater Limited Board following our 2024 Annual General Meeting – Jacqui Hickey and Jacqui De Lacy.

Greg Claydon, eWater Limited Board Chair and Independent Director, said was very pleased that members approved resolutions to formalise appointments to the Board of two new Directors, who will bring specific knowledge, skills and experience and further expand the diversity and capability of the Board.

Jacqui Hickey, Executive Director, River Management at the Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA), was previously an Interim Director and was formally approved as a Director nominated by the Commonwealth Government as an owner member.

Ms. Hickey has more than 20 years’ experience across the public and private sectors and has particular skills, knowledge and experience in water science, management and operations with demonstrable performance leading technical, policy and operational teams to deliver on complex projects and shape policy decisions.

Ms. De Lacy has a deep practical understanding of international development issues and operations and is recognized as a thought leader on development issues in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. Jacqui has strong personal networks in international development circles globally with outstanding relationship and representation skills, including the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders across many different cultures and countries.

“I very much look forward to welcoming and working closely and constructively with the new Board as we continue to build momentum and pursue exciting new opportunities for the company nationally and internationally, while also being the diligent trustee of intellectual property developed through investments under the Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) and other programs of well over $100 million of public money.”
