eWater MUSICX, our software tool for water sensitive urban design, has been updated with a range of new features.

We are continuing to find ways to improve our products with the latest MUSICX 1.50 update delivering a range of new features, improved stability and more flexibility.
For MUSICX 1.50, users will be able to:
- Climate Template Builder – As in MUSIC6, users can create custom climate templates using the Climate Template Builder, enabling the creation of standardized and consistent climate data inputs, especially for LGAs.
- Flexible Time Step Modelling – Users can now run models at different time steps, providing greater flexibility in simulations.
- Command Line Runner for MUSICX – MUSICX can now operate via the command line, enabling batch runs and integration with other models such as passing results to hydraulic models like HEC-RAS or Drains.
- Flow-Based Cumulative Frequency Graph Comparison – Issues with the Flow-Based Cumulative Frequency Graph have been resolved to allow accurate visualization and seamless comparison of pre-and post-development outputs. Enhancements have been made to support multiple receiving nodes and extending to Source and Treatment nodes.
- Other Minor Improvements – Enhanced UI, usability, compatibility, documentation, and stability across various features.
- Bug Fixes – Improved stability, corrected text, and resolved issues with summary report export.
All upgrades are free with a current Support and Maintenance Agreement.
We are proud to say that eWater MUSIC™ is used throughout Australia, including 120 local governments, catchment management authorities, urban water managers, and hundreds of engineering and development business.
And in addition to this community, we work with 15 Australian universities which use and teach eWater MUSIC to the next generation of urban planners, water engineers and urban development professionals with the skills to sustainably manage our precious waterways.
We will continue to listen to our user community on how we can enhance and deliver a product that meets the challenges facing our communities and our customers in water resource management. This is critical for ensuring sustainable urban development in the face of changing climate conditions.
