International issue of H2O Thinking out now

Thursday 4 August 2011

Our latest international issue of H2O Thinking magazine, Volume 7 is now available in both hard copy and print editions.

With an international theme, this issue features opinion pieces by eWater CRC CEO, Gary Jones, on efforts to sustain the world’s rivers, and an expert’s guide to water modelling by BMT WBM Water-Quality Associate Tony Weber.

John Briscoe, Mckay Professor of the Practice of Environmental Engineering at Harvard University also contributed to this issue. Briscoe is widely credited with first creating and then destroying the World Commission on Dams (WCD) process. It is a badge he wears with honour and you can read why in this issue.

Keeping with the international theme this issue also includes a range of articles and case studies focused on the international water scene, including efforts to tackle algal blooms in China’s Lake Tai, and a focus on some of the world’s most endangered rivers.

H2O Thinking showcases new and exciting research, technologies and business innovations being developed by our partners and other organisations across Australia.
