How do we ensure future water management provides water security, liveability and healthy environments amid challenges such as climate change and urban growth?

This was the focus of this year’s Queensland Water Summit (February 19 2025), where eWater was represented by our Senior Urban Hydrologist, Dr. Mukta Sapkota. Mukta joined water experts from across Queensland to discuss these challenges.

We value events such as the Queensland Water Summit, they play a critical role in fostering open discussions about protecting our waterways and water resources. They bring together experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to share knowledge, tackle challenges, and collaborate on innovative solutions for sustainable water management. These conversations are essential to safeguarding our environment and securing water resources for future generations.

Dr Mukta Sapkota, said attending the Queensland Water Summit provided “eWater with valuable insights into the latest challenges and innovations in water management. By engaging with industry leaders and stakeholders, we can gain perspectives that inform future software improvements, ensuring our tools remain at the forefront of addressing real-world water resource management needs.”

Our commitment to collaborating and learning are key values of eWater Group, and participating in events like Queensland Water Summit, this supports us to live these values.

We congratulate the summit’s organisers and sponsors for hosting such an engaging and thought-provoking event.
