Jaya Reddy
Jaya Reddy leads product delivery, ensuring eWater’s software solutions support sustainable water management practices across Australia and internationally.
Summary:
As Program Delivery Manager, Jaya Reddy oversees the end-to-end delivery of eWater’s software solutions for sustainable water management, aligning teams and stakeholders to meet project goals. With a strong technical foundation and a passion for purpose-driven work, Jaya brings structure, insight, and impact to every project she oversees.
Analytical thinkers, problem-solvers, and strong communicators – our perhaps our Product Delivery and Business Analysis team – play a vital role in delivering tools that help shape sustainable water futures.
Jaya Reddy is one of those people.
Since joining eWater Group in September 2023 as our Business Analyst before transitioning to Product Delivery Manager, Jaya has worked in step with our technical teams, together with our stakeholder, to ensure our software products meet both business goals and user needs. She’s a key driver in making sure we deliver solutions that work – on time, and with impact.
Jaya’s career began in software development, where she built strong foundations in coding, system design and project management. Over time, her interest shifted to product strategy and user-focused delivery, which led her into business analysis and eventually into her current role managing the end-to-end product delivery lifecycle.
“I was drawn to the challenge of understanding complex business needs and translating them into actionable solutions,” Jaya explains. “It’s exciting to work in a space where you’re connecting the dots between technical development, customer needs, and real-world outcomes.”
What attracted her to eWater Group? The mission.
“Helping manage water sustainably is such important work. I’ve always been passionate about using my skills to contribute to a larger purpose.”
As a Product Delivery Manager, Jaya’s days are dynamic, ranging from aligning our hydrology and developer teams on product priorities and facilitating planning sessions, to removing delivery blockers and working with hydrology experts and developers to evolve product timelines and milestones.
“No two days are the same, which keeps things exciting. It’s a constant balance of coordination, problem-solving, and communication.”
Local delivery, global impact
Since joining eWater, Jaya has been able to contribute her skills and experience to several Australian initiatives, including the Enhanced Environmental Water Delivery (EEWD)* project, a multi-jurisdictional project, and the Integrated River Modelling Uplift (IRMU) program with the Murray-Darling Basin Authority.
Jaya is also working alongside our hydrology and software development teams on ongoing work on improvements to eWater Source™, Australia’s National Hydrological Modelling Platform, on behalf of all Australian governments.
“Our tools are helping decision-makers manage water sustainably, not just in Australia, but in regions facing major environmental pressures. It’s rewarding to be part of that.”
A data-driven future
Jaya believes Australia has a real opportunity to lead in the integration of advanced data analytics in the water sector.
“There’s so much data being collected, but we’re not always leveraging it to its full potential. More predictive analytics, real-time dashboards, and data-driven decision-making would significantly improve operational efficiency and proactive resource management.”
Whether working on delivery timelines, troubleshooting blockers, or supporting cross-functional teams, Jaya brings precision, purpose, and passion to her work.
And her message to our broader community?
eWater’s impact goes beyond tools; it’s powered by people.
