Get to know us at eWater Group
eWater Group exists to make water management better.
We exist to improve water management and give decision-makers accurate and trustworthy information that is easy to use.
Jointly owned by all Australian governments, eWater provides stewardship, management, development, enhancement, skills-building, research, access, and transparency in water management and modelling tools, capability, and capacity.
We do this in the interests of our government members, stakeholders, clients, and customers and on behalf of the Australian people who have invested in us.
From our beginnings as part of Australia’s Cooperative Research Centre Program in 2005, eWater Limited was established by Australian Federal, State and Territory governments to safely steward and take forward the nation’s hydrological modelling capabilities developed over decades. We have built on the expertise of government agencies, scientific research institutions, technical experts, and policy professionals, and keep these capabilities contemporary, current and responsive to new circumstances, demands and challenges.
eWater has been driven to grow and diversify our revenue streams to support and develop our products and services but also to serve the needs and interests of Australian governments committed to making Australian excellence in water resource management better known and accessible to an international audience. This includes delivering programs, services and information to developing countries facing water security challenges to ensure they achieve sustainable development and greater prosperity for all their citizens.
At eWater Group, and through our divisions, we support governments, organisations, and water managers to use our tools and products, expertise, and international development program management capabilities, including in their pursuit of integrated water resource management objectives and poverty reduction.
There is no other organisation in Australia that can ensure the safe custody and wise ongoing development of these critical national assets.
eWater Group is responsible for the management of two divisions – eWater Solutions and The Australian Water Partnership
