eWater is proud to be a partner of the Australian Water Partnership (AWP).
AWP was established in 2015 by the Australian Government, through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to support sustainable management of water in the Indo-Pacific and beyond.
eWater has undertaken a range of projects for AWP, including:
- State of the Basin Assessment for the Ayeyarwady River, Myanmar (surface water component, read more)
- Supporting the Arghandab Integrated Water Resource Project, Afghanistan (read more)
- New metrics for the UN ESCAP Drought Mechanism (read more)
- WaterTools: A guide to three national level platforms that support the management of Australia’s scarce water resources.
The AWP has over 200 Australian partners, many from the private sector, that work with governments and multilateral partners such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, to enhance sustainable water management and pursue the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
