eWater is excited to announce a significant change to our management structure, with the appointment of a new eWater Limited Group Chief Executive Officer.
Over the past six years, eWater Limited has had a Chief Executive Officer for each of the two main business units, the Australian Water Partnership (AWP) and eWater Solutions (the official name for our hydrological software and modelling enterprise). Following the resignation of Robert Carr as eWater CEO in December 2021, the eWater Board determined that, in order to be able to set a holistic future strategic direction for the company, a structure should be established under a single Group CEO.
After a competitive selection process, the eWater Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Wilson as the new eWater Limited Group CEO.
Michael is currently the Chief Executive of the Australian Water Partnership, and as such already a core part of the eWater Ltd leadership team. Michael brings a diverse range of experience in natural resource management and international aid programs, with Government and the private sector.
Operational requirements and organisational structure will be determined over the coming weeks, in consultation with the Board and eWater staff. Please continue to liaise with your existing eWater contacts for current projects, proposals, support and maintenance agreements, training etc. As always you can contact us via [email protected] and we will direct your enquiry to the relevant person.
We look forward to continuing working with you in this new chapter of eWater Ltd, and we are very positive that these adjustments will mean a more cohesive and efficient organisation dedicated to the sustainable management of water resources in Australia and beyond.
